Maxim Konoplyanikov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the PKRF Group of Companies, took part in the Creative Industries Forum, which took place on June 6 as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center. The event became a key discussion platform that brought together Russian and international leaders of the creative industries, representatives of business and government, as well as investors.
PKRF — one of the backbone players of the Russian economy, and the international platform of the AKTAWA Group already provides cross-border interaction between hundreds of companies around the world.
The SPIEF Creative Industries Forum is an annual business platform operated by the Roscongress Foundation. This year, the central theme of the forum was "Contours of the Future: Humans and AI in a culture of co-creation." The program includes 13 thematic sessions dedicated to the transformation of the media environment, the development of film production, animation, theater, the gaming industry, digital content and artificial intelligence technologies.
Strategic negotiations on the sidelines of the forum
As part of the Maxim business program Konoplynikov held a series of negotiations with representatives of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO). The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation within the framework of the ADIO Strategy, a strategy aimed at turning the emirate into the most competitive industrial hub in the region.
The key link for the implementation of the agreements reached will be the international ecosystem of the AKTAWA Group, which is a global B2B platform bringing together suppliers and buyers from 24 countries, including the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Her expertise in international logistics and cross-border payments will make it possible to effectively scale the projects discussed on the sidelines of the forum.
The role of the creative economy in the modern world
Creative Industries Forum on SPIEF 2026 has become not only a place for negotiations and project presentations, but also a platform for understanding global trends. It was here that the key theses about the place of the creative sector in the new economic reality were voiced.
As the presidential adviser noted Anton Kobyakov, Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee, said that the creative economy is becoming an important factor in the global competitiveness of states and economic cooperation.
"It forms new models of international cooperation, influences the development of territories, offers sought-after cultural products and shapes the modern image of the country. In these circumstances, the Innosocium Foundation at the SPIEF site creates a space for discussing topical issues and building partnerships between the state, business and society, which becomes a decision–making center at the intersection of economics, culture, technology and social development," Anton emphasized. Kobyakov.
Participation in the Forum of Creative Industries allowed the PCRF not only to present its achievements to the professional community, but also to establish new business contacts. Negotiations with partners from Abu Dhabi and the discussion of future joint work lay the foundation for the implementation of ambitious projects not only for the Russian Communist Party, but also for the AKTAWA Group, which is an international business platform that enhances the expansion of Russian creative solutions into global markets.
