Basalt mesh — non-metallic reinforcement of buildings and roads**
The product is a construction grid made of basalt threads superimposed on each other perpendicular (rectangular cells), without the use of metal. The filaments are obtained by melting basalt rocks at high temperature, followed by stretching. The material is characterized by chemical resistance, dielectric properties and corrosion resistance. The field of application is the reinforcement of brick and stone masonry, screeds and plaster layers, the installation of self—leveling floors, as well as the reinforcement of pavement and asphalt concrete layers.
